Visit of the website

When using our website, our hosting provider logs so-called "log file" data each time the server is accessed, such as the name of the website accessed, previously visited page ("referrer" URL), product and version information of the browser and operating system used, requesting provider, date and time of access, search engines used, country of access, data volume transmitted, names of downloaded files and IP address.

The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest in storing log file data lies in guaranteeing system security, including the clarification of misuse. The IP addresses will be deleted after a maximum of 7 days, unless they are needed longer due to a security-relevant incident, e.g. for reconnaissance or for evidence purposes.

You are not entitled to a right of objection against our above-mentioned processing of your personal data, since the aforementioned compelling reasons worthy of protection for our processing outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, and our processing also serves a possible assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Contact requests:

With contact inquiries we process your personal data such as name, address, e-mail address etc., which we need for the answer of your inquiry.

The legal basis for processing your personal data in the context of contact enquiries is Art. 6 Para. 1 b) Basic Data Protection Ordinance.

In the context of contact inquiries we store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the processing of your inquiry.

The provision of this personal data is not required by law or contract or required for the conclusion of a contract. However, if you do not provide us with this data, we cannot answer your contact request or - in the case of limited contact details - not on all requested communication channels.

Registration / Orders:

During your registration or orders we process your personal data such as name, address, email address, date of birth, user name of your choice, payment data etc., which we need for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship with you or for the execution of pre-contractual measures which take place on your request.

We store your personal data collected within the scope of registration or order for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship (if applicable including the provision of the customer account) and/or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures upon your request and/or with regard to warranty, guarantee or comparable obligations and/or or with regard to statutory retention periods.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data collected in the context of registration or orders is Art. 6 para. 1 b) and Art. 6 para. 1 c) Basic Data Protection Ordinance.

The provision of this personal data is not required by law or contract. However, it is required for the conclusion of the contract, i.e. the execution of the registration or order, insofar as the relevant information is mandatory (instead of only voluntary) in our registration/order process.

Newsletter:

If you register for our newsletter, we process the data collected such as your e-mail address, title, etc. for the purpose of sending the newsletter. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time, e.g. by e-mail to the contact details mentioned above.

4. Google Tag Manager

5. Google Adwords Remarketing

8. Facebook Pixel / Facebook Custom Audience

Facebook Custom Audience is used on individual pages of our website. Facebook is used by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. Calif.

Facebook Custom Audience enables target group-oriented advertising on Facebook. The Facebook Pixel also allows us to associate which visits to our website are made by clicking on our Facebook ads. Facebook Custom Audience and Facebook Pixel therefore serve our legitimate interest in analysing, optimising and economically operating our online advertising.

When using Facebook Custom Audience via the customer list, our customer list is transmitted to Facebook and converted into fixed character strings using a hash procedure. Facebook can use this data to compare which of our customers are also members of Facebook and then play Facebook advertising to these customers or a part of these customers selected according to certain characteristics (e.g. age or interests) or to a comparable target group.

When using Facebook Custom Audience using the pixel method, an invisible Facebook pixel is integrated on our website which, among other things, transmits the Facebook user ID of the user (logged in to Facebook) and data for the use of our website to Facebook. This enables Facebook to track the online behavior of the users of our website. Facebook can display targeted advertisements to registered users (for example, for a product not purchased after an aborted order process).

In the pixel process as part of a so-called "extended comparison", such data (e.g. surname, first name, e-mail address, date of birth, etc. of users registered with us) are also transmitted to Facebook which enable Facebook to determine whether they are Facebook members even for visitors to our website who are not logged on to Facebook (in order to include such Facebook members in the above-mentioned target group advertising, if necessary).

In accordance with Art. 20 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to be provided with personal data concerning you and to have this data transferred to another person responsible ("right to data transferability").

Your rights of objection resulting from Art. 21 of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance are listed in this data protection declaration during the respective processing.

You have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority is the LDI North Rhine-Westphalia.
